Tempting tempura

Sagano restaurant on Askew Road, Shepherds Bush

Hungry on Tuesday night Chef and Sue wandered along Askew Road in search of a bite to eat. There, we walked through some hanging banners into Sagano, a little Japanese restaurant. Sat in the window, we had cool Asahi and white wine, then tucked into light crispy vegetable tempura – delicious. Next up, Sue had a yaki soba with tasty chicken, while I went for smooth flavoursome aubergine with miso, and some fluffy egg fried rice. A treat, and great service. Chef’s Kiss!
