Today we travelled six stops down the line to Vauxhall to visit Newport Street Gallery. We saw ‘Power Stations’, an exhibition of John Hoyland’s impressive abstract paintings – some of which you can see here – and then had a lunch at Pharmacy 2 surrounded by Damien Hirst’s pills. Me and the girls had soft eggs – mine à la Florentine, theirs with soldiers – and Sue had a lamb pie with creamed spinach. Nice.
